About us…

The Little Black Book AgencyEvolution is imperative in business. Not too sure what Darwin would have to say about that, but here at The Little Black Book Agency we’re evolving alongside our clients. In 2009, when we set up, we were the only agency outside of London who specialised purely in digital recruitment. However, as our clients grew and developed, so did we. We now cover all roles within marketing, media, PR and creative, with digital spanning them all. Our standard of service is still the same as it ever was (and shall remain so) but our service offering is still changing. So, as Mr Darwin said, ‘It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change’.

We’ve placed marketing talent in roles from Edinburgh to Ealing and from graduate to managing director level. To work with us, all we ask is that you are like us - passionate about what you do.

Gareth Wright

Gareth Wright - Director

Gareth started his career down in London, working with some of the top advertising and digital agencies in the world. After 5 years, he returned to The North to work with some of the region’s top agencies and brands. In 2009, Gareth founded The Little Black Book Agency, which is now proud to represent some of the best talent and organisations that the marketing and communications industry has to offer.

Anna Shorrocks

Anna Shorrocks - Senior Consultant

After graduating, Anna worked for the BBC in London, before moving back to her native Manchester. She has over 10 years experience of recruiting for the North of England’s creative communities. Having set-up the digital department at her previous agency, Anna was delighted to start working with Gareth in January 2010, utilising both her offline and digital knowledge.
